  • Skills to do with water sports are sought after, such as instructor certificates in scuba diving, jet ski handling, kiteboarding, or surfing. Any experience in carpentry, woodwork, varnishing, painting, fibre glass or shipwright skills are extremely beneficial. Experience in private security is sometimes sought as is drone photography and video editing.

  • Any trade background, especially in mechanical, electrical skills, hydraulics, air conditioning and experience in AV/IT (media systems, internet and satellite connectivity, sound systems and computers).

  • Interior crew: Formal hospitality service, 5* hospitality experience, bar tending, barrister or sommelier skills, floristry experience, childcare experience, and computer skills. Additional qualifications such as nursing, beautician, hairdressing, gym / yoga / pilates instructor are also widely sought after.
    Galley crew should generally be culinary trained with exceptional food presentation skills. Chefs should have a wide repertoire of international cuisines they are comfortable cooking.
